About Tidepay

Recurring billing infrastructure for the on-chain economy.

Our mission

Recurring payments are a solved problem in fiat — but crypto subscriptions still mean asking a customer to remember to send a transfer every month, or building your own on-chain billing engine from scratch. Tidepay exists so merchants can offer subscriptions, paylinks, and split payouts on-chain with the same ease as a traditional payment processor.

How it started

Tidepay was built by a small team of engineers who had shipped on-chain payment flows before and kept re-solving the same problems: allowance management, retry logic for failed pulls, webhook delivery guarantees, and take-rate splitting. We built it once, generally, so other teams don't have to.

How we operate

Tidepay never custodies subscriber funds outside of the on-chain pull-and-split flow described in our documentation — charges move directly from a subscriber's wallet to the merchant's (and, where configured, the platform's) address in a single transaction. Our operator wallet only ever executes a pre-approved allowance; it cannot move more than a subscriber has authorized.
